Privacy at a glance
AI Resume Maker is developed by Dipendra Mehra ("we", "us", or "our"). The App lets users create, edit, save, preview, and export resumes. Resume data is normally stored locally on the user's device. Information is transmitted off the device only when needed for optional AI features, advertising, consent management, security, fraud prevention, or related service operation.
The App does not require users to create an account, and we do not operate a separate server or database that stores complete resumes.
1. Information you enter
The App may allow you to enter information such as:
- Name, professional title, email address, phone number, and location;
- Professional summary, education, work experience, and skills;
- Projects, publications, extracurricular activities, positions of responsibility, and achievements; and
- Any other text or links that you voluntarily add to your resume.
This information is used to create and display your resume and to generate a PDF when requested. Saved resumes and generated PDFs are stored locally on your device or in a location you select through Android. We do not receive a copy merely because you create or save a resume locally.
2. Optional AI features
The App uses Firebase AI Logic and the Google Gemini API for optional features such as generating or improving a professional summary, suggesting skills, and improving work-experience or project descriptions.
AI processing occurs only after you choose an AI feature and confirm the disclosure shown in the App. Depending on the feature, the App may send the following information to Google:
- Professional title, existing summary, education, work experience, projects, and skills;
- Position, company name, and an experience description; or
- Project title, role or technologies, and a project description.
The App is designed not to include the dedicated name, email, phone number, or location fields in AI requests. However, those details may still be transmitted if you manually enter them inside another free-text field that is sent for AI processing.
AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You must review every suggestion before adding it to your resume. AI-generated content is not professional, legal, hiring, or career advice.
3. Advertising and consent management
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad interactions;
- Diagnostic and performance information; and
- Device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available.
This information may be used for advertising, analytics, ad measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Advertising data is handled by Google under its own policies.
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and record advertising privacy choices where required. Depending on your region, you may be offered personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or other choices. When required, you can reopen available choices using the App's Privacy choices option. You may also reset or delete your advertising ID through Android settings.
4. App security and Firebase App Check
We use Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity to help verify that requests come from an authentic version of the App and to reduce abuse of the AI service. This process may involve Firebase user-agent data, integrity tokens, App Check tokens, and technical attestation material. Google and the applicable attestation provider process this information for app integrity, security, and fraud prevention.
5. Summary of data handling
| Information | Purpose | Where it is handled |
|---|---|---|
| Resume details | Create, edit, save, preview, and export resumes | Normally on your device |
| Selected resume content | Generate AI suggestions when requested | Google Firebase AI Logic / Gemini API |
| IP address, interactions, diagnostics, and identifiers | Advertising, measurement, security, and fraud prevention | Google AdMob and related Google services |
| Integrity and App Check information | Verify authentic app requests and prevent abuse | Firebase App Check / Google Play Integrity |
| Consent status and privacy choices | Apply legally required advertising choices | Google User Messaging Platform and your device |
6. How information is shared
Information may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- With Google services described in this Policy to provide AI, advertising, consent, integrity, security, and fraud-prevention functions;
- When you intentionally export or share a PDF using Android or another app;
- When required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request; or
- To protect users, our rights, security, or prevent misuse.
We do not sell complete resumes or contact information entered into the App.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local resume data
Resume data remains on your device until you delete the resume, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Generated PDF files remain in the location where they were saved until you delete them using your device's file-management tools.
Data processed by Google
Information processed by Gemini, AdMob, UMP, Firebase App Check, and Google Play Integrity is retained according to Google's applicable terms, product settings, legal obligations, and privacy policies. We do not independently control Google's retention periods.
Because the App does not provide user accounts or store resumes on our servers, there is no app account to delete. You can contact us if you have a privacy question, but we may not be able to identify or delete data held only locally on your device or independently processed by Google.
8. Your choices
- Do not use an AI feature if you do not want selected resume content sent to Google.
- Review and reject any AI suggestion before it is inserted into your resume.
- Use available Privacy choices in the App to review advertising consent where required.
- Manage the advertising ID and privacy controls in Android settings.
- Delete saved resumes from the App and delete exported PDFs from your device.
- Clear App storage or uninstall the App to remove locally stored App data.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical safeguards and rely on platform security features. Google states that Firebase and Google Mobile Ads information is encrypted in transit. Nevertheless, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.
10. Children
The App and its AI features are intended for users aged 18 or older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us using the address below.
11. Third-party privacy information

12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after an update means the revised Policy applies to future use.
